I’ve never been karting before!

Don’t worry! Teamworks Karting’s events are ideal for novices as well as experienced racers, and every circuit provides a full safety & instruction briefing before you start, and practice laps before the main event.
More than 250,000 people have raced at Teamworks Karting’s circuits, and most of them had never been karting before!

How do I book?

What is an ‘Open’ event?

An ‘Open’ event is open to the public: anyone can book. Open events are ideal for small groups of 1-15 drivers. To find an event near you, go to the check availability page. You can book online or by phoning our events team on 0121 703 6165.

What is an ‘Exclusive’ event?

An ‘Exclusive’ event is a private booking, just for you & your group. Exclusive events are ideal for larger groups of 15 or more drivers. These events are created bespoke for you by our events team: please call our Events Team on 0121 703 6165  or click on the Contact Us link here.

How much does it cost?

Each circuit has different prices. Please click on the Prices link or call our Events Team on0121 703 6165, who will help you find the perfect event for you.

How old do I have to be?

All drivers must be over 16 for all adult events (including all ‘Grand Prix’ and ‘Le Mans’ events). You must be over 8 and over our height limits for all Cadet Events and ‘Arrive & Drive’ timed practice sessions.

How tall do I need to be?

Height limits are strictly enforced for your safety:
Birmingham – 150cm
Halesowen – 135cm
Letchworth – 140cm
Reading – 140cm

How many people do I need?

There are no minimum group sizes for open events: just book as many drivers as you need.

Do I need a driving license?

No.

What should I wear?

Wear flat soled shoes (e.g. trainers) and loose, comfortable clothes. Race suits and crash helmets are provided, but you may bring your own if you have them.

Do I have to book?

Yes. Demand for karting is very high, and some dates can be booked several months in advance, so the sooner you book the better your chance of getting the date & time you want.
