Directors

Paul Folkes Davis, Chairman
Following over 25 years as an officer or Director of investment banking institutions including N M Rothschild & Sons Limited and NatWest Markets, Paul retired from the banking industry and is now Bursar of Trinity Hall, Cambridge. Paul is an experienced non-executive, holding a number of other positions.

Michael Bryant, Managing Director
Michael graduated in Law at University College London in 1994, and after qualifying as a solicitor worked with Sinclair Roche & Temperley (now Stephenson Harwood) and More Fisher Brown. Michael's professional practice included finance, commercial property and litigation.
Michael left private practice in 2000 to co-found Teamworks Karting. Michael is MD of the Company, responsible for operations, expansion, circuit development and IT.

Simone Schehtman, Sales & Marketing Director
A mathematics graduate from University College London (1994), Simone trained as a currency trader with BNP Paribas and then moved into retail bank marketing, becoming Head of European Strategy & Product Development for Cendant Europe. Simone's marketing expertise has included directing the team that created the "Celebrations" brand for Mars Confections.
Simone is a Fellow of The Royal Society, The British American Project, an elected Council Member of Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, gives lectures on entrepreneurship and has been listed in Insider Magazine's "42 under 42". As Sales & Marketing Director, Simone is the public face of the Company, and is responsible for sales, marketing, PR, brand development and investor relations.

John Handley, Finance Director
John qualified as a chartered accountant, and is an experienced venture capital investor having spent the last 15 years in private equity. He has worked at Bridgepoint Capital (then NatWest Ventures), ECI, and latterly at Lloyds Development Capital where he was a Senior Director for seven years. He left LDC in September 2005 and recently worked as part-time FD for Maverick Television, until their successful sale to All3Media in July 2007.
John has a number of non-executive positions and lectures on private equity for the BVCA and others both in the UK and abroad. He joined the Board in November 2007.
