Unfortunately our planned re-opening in England on 12th April has had to be delayed at extremely short notice.
Changes to Covid regulations were made by the Government, late on Friday 9th of April, which creates a new category of “recreational driving facilities” and defined this new classification must remain closed, until 17th of May.
The previous position, following the March guidance was all go karting operators could open on April 12th.
All of our venues have always opened and operated with full respect to Covid restrictions and Health and Safety guidance. Teamworks Karting operate under the authority of the National Karting Association who gave all Kart operators, in the UK, the permission to open on April 12th, following a review of the March legislation.
Yesterday’s change to the law affects the whole karting industry and all indoor karting operators will now be not permitted to open, until May 17th
We understand how frustrating this is for our customers, who have booked in this period.
On May 17th, our Kart Circuits will now open, along with our Laser Tag venues, Simulator Race Centres and our Cafe and Bar facilities.
We appreciate your loyalty and patience. We have provisionally rebooked you for the first Cadet Club, on May 23rd and have allocated a £10 Teamworks voucher to your account.
