Congratulations on securing your place on the epic Teamworks Hub Employability Course!

LOCATION: 

Teamworks Karting Birmingham (City) is an incredible go karting venue located at 202 Fazeley Street, Birmingham B5 5SE.

Your programme will be delivered in a room overlooking this incredible venue.

During the programme, you will get a chance to get out and race these karts with other programme participants, if you want to!

TRAVEL COSTS: Please bring a receipt, or a bus pass, or show proof on your phone of receipts for that day’s travel and you will be reimbursed in cash each morning.

INTRO DAY: 

Wednesday September 30th 10am-12pm

Please arrive by 9:45

At intro day, we will complete registration, so please bring your ID.

The course tutor will introduce the course, you will meet Samina from Teamworks Hub, who graduated from the course and now works for Teamworks! Additionally you will mee Jo, who will talk to you about the employers and roles at Talent Finders Day.

FIRST DAY: Monday 5th: 10am – 2pm

There will be breaks during the day, but if you need any extra support, just let us know on day 1. Our team will support you with everything you need.

REFRESHMENTS: 

• Pastries, fruit, tea and coffee will be provided on arrival at no cost
• A Pizza buffet will be provided for lunch at no cost
• Bottled water will be provided at no cost
• Crisps and chocolates and soft drinks are available for purchase, from our Cafe

All our catering is nut free. and we will cater for Halal preferences as well.

Talent Finders Day

Tuesday 13th October

Meet multiple employers with entry-level jobs ready to go! We currently have 51 stand holders booked, representing companies including Royal Mail, the NHS, Army recruitment, Leisure companies, Security Companies, Hospitality, Construction, Engineering, Finance and healthcare. All of these companies recruit across the whole landscape from Administrative roles to management! Multiple course providers and support companies will also be on site. It really is a jobs fair with a difference and we will help you with introductions you may need!

WHAT DO I NEED TO BRING?:

Please just bring your ID

But also:

1. Lots of positivity!
2. Some ideas on the types of jobs or careers that you would like to progress into
3. Some of those can be explored on the virtual work experience platform that we use.
4. We will be guiding you towards some successful outcomes at the Talent Finders Day, where you will meet 40+ employers, so even in advance of the course, let us know what you would like to achieve.

Karting: You will get FREE karting during the course! Not compulsory but how about some fun!
