Start your engines, Plymouth. On 8th August, Teamworks Karting will kick open the doors at the site formerly known as Plymouth Karting, and the city is about to get a whole lot faster. A much-loved local venue that had gone quiet is roaring back to life, and this time it’s bringing racing, laser tag, and a serious dose of adrenaline to the South West.
The reopening breathes new life into a site that generations of Plymouth locals grew up with, providing something new to do on a Friday night (or Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday…) Families get a new go-to. Corporate teams get a fresh way to blow off steam. Groups of mates get bragging rights on tap. And the wider area gets a buzzing destination that pulls people in, so that’s good news for nearby businesses, too.
Just Around The Corner
At the heart of it all, our karts are fast and built for crossing the finish line. Whether it’s your first time behind the wheel or your hundredth lap, the track is set up for rivals and rookies alike.
Expect tight corners, close racing, and leader boards that settle arguments once and for all. Chase the fastest lap. Overtake your mates. Fight for the finish line. No experience needed, just bring your competitive streak.
Armour Up
But our karts are only half the story. Teamworks Plymouth also brings laser tag into the mix: fast-paced, tactical, and made for groups who like to win together. Team up, split up, and battle it out across our tailor-made immersive arenas.
It’s the perfect pairing with a stint on the track: race hard, then regroup and go again. Two ways to compete, one unforgettable night out.
Refuel
A good race calls for a cool-down lap. Once the karts are parked and the scores are settled, head to the onsite rest stop to keep the adrenaline going. Grab a cold drink, discuss the highlights, and give the winners an opportunity to gloat – add hot pizza (freshly made onsite) to the mix and you’ve got the perfect way to round things off: refuel, relax, and start planning the rematch.
Who’s it for?
Everyone. Birthday parties. Stag and hen groups. Office teams swapping the meeting room for the race track. Families after something more exciting than the usual. Whether you’re planning a big celebration or just fancy a faster night out, Teamworks Plymouth has you covered.

The grid is filling fast, and 8th August is closer than you think. Plymouth, your fastest night out is almost here.
