SUMMER HAF

RESCHEDULED HAF EVENT

We are sorry that we were not able to race your child or children at the HAF event, on Friday!

Extensive flooding of the building happened overnight on the Thursday.

We have agreed with Nottinghamshire HAF to run the event now on Tuesday 1st of September from 9am – 1pm

If you would STILL LIKE TO ATTEND, and can make the 1st of September, please go to your messages in the EEQU platform and reply YES to the mail or reply YES to the text message. Thank you to those who have already replied to the message in the platform

If you CANNOT ATTEND, please go to your messages in the EEQU platform and reply NO to the message or reply No to the text message. Thank you to those who have already replied to the message in the platform

As the Laser Tag arena suffered significant damage, it is unlikely this will be part of the available events on this HAF date, but there will be additional activities, a lunch buffet and of course the fantastic karting.

Our team will distribute Laser Tag vouchers to each participant for use at another time, on the 1st September, and for anyone who has to cancel, we will send those individually via email.

Please do let us know either way as if you cannot attend, we can offer those places to other children.

If you are attending and have not completed your child’s disclaimer, please do so, here: https://www.teamworkskarting.com/checkin/?bookingref=872522

Any questions, please reply to the messages in the EEQU platform or email jquin@teamworkskarting.com and we will reply as soon as we can.

CAN I DROP MY CHILD AND LEAVE?

NO! All children must be accompanied by an adult who is over 18 and who can stay for the whole duration of the event.

WHY DO PARENTS NEED TO STAY?

All children, Under 16, need to be accompanied by an adult for all Teamworks events, not just our HAF programme. This is completely in line with National Karting Association guidance and ensures that a responsible adult can address any emergencies and provide necessary supervision. If an incident occurs on the track, staff need to quickly communicate with the child’s legal guardian at that time. You can make decisions on their behalf regarding first aid and continued participation. Of course, serious incidents are very uncommon and our staff are fully trained in First Aid. However this policy is in place, to ensure the right people are in place if the child needs attention or a decision on continued participation is needed.

WHAT IS THERE FOR PARENTS TO DO?

We have a great spectator area both beside the track and in the cafe, where you can watch your child participate. We have quiet rooms upstairs if you would like to work or relax. Our cafe is open if you would like to purchase refreshments.

WHAT RESTRICTIONS ARE THERE?

All children must be:

  • 8 years of age and older
  • Maximum age of 16
  • Over 125cm tall
  • Every child must be fit and healthy enough to participate. Speak to us, if you have any concerns.

DO YOU HAVE PARKING?

Parking is right outside our venue! The postcode is 4 Fulwood Road, North NG17 2NB
