Most of the time at Teamworks Karting, you’ll be sharing the grid. You’ll race alongside a few strangers, exchange some good natured trash-talk with the driver in the next kart, and sometimes pick up a rivalry you never saw coming – it’s all part of the fun. But some occasions call for something bigger, which is why we’ve launched the Venue Takeover. The whole place, booked out for you and nobody else. 

A Venue Takeover hands you the keys to the entire venue. Every kart, every arena and every lap belongs to you and your guest list. There’s no waiting for your session slot, and no sharing the track with another party – so the only people you need to beat are the ones you brought with you.

It’s built for the moments that deserve more than a standard booking: company milestones and team days, big birthdays, stag and hen dos, and product launches or networking events that need more excitement than a canapé and a lanyard can provide. 

Pick Your Takeover

We’ve built two packages, each matched to the venues set up to deliver them.

The Full Throttle Takeover pairs high-speed karting with laser tag, and it’s available at our Plymouth and East Midlands venues. It’s the classic one-two: duke it out on the track, then take the rivalry into the arena to settle any unfinished business. Perfect for groups who want flat-out, head-to-head competition from start to finish.

The Ultimate Takeover adds racing simulators into the mix, and it’s available at Birmingham (City) and Letchworth. Karting, laser tag and sim racing under one roof gives larger groups real variety, so the competitive types can chase lap times on track while the rest test themselves in the virtual cockpit or sneak around our laser arena. Everyone finds their thing, and everyone ends up on a leaderboard somewhere.

What You’ll Get

• The whole venue reserved exclusively for your guests, start to finish

• Back-to-back racing. Run session after session across your chosen activities without waiting your turn. If somebody demands a rematch, they can have one.

• An event built around you, with a team of events coordinators who’ll work with you to shape the timeline, set up podium ceremonies and add catering, so the day flows exactly the way you want it to.

• A team on your side. You’ll have your own event coordinator, plus race directors, track marshals and hosts focused entirely on keeping your group safe and the competition fair (or at least as fair as your mates will allow).

Nobody needs racing experience to get stuck in. Our team briefs everyone before the lights go out, so first-timers can find their feet while the fastest driver in the office finally gets the chance to prove it. Whether you’re bringing a department or the whole company, there’s room for everyone on the grid, and plenty of bragging rights to go around.
